Middletown, OH – “Hope House does great work,” says country music legend Ricky Skaggs. “That’s why we’re coming to Southwest Ohio–to play some great music for some great people.” On October 4, the 14-time Grammy-winner and his band, Kentucky Thunder, will come to Hamilton’s Princeton Pike Church in a benefit concert for Middletown’s Hope House Mission.

Skaggs’ career is among the most significant in recent country music history.  Best known for his bluegrass style, he’s leading a country music roots revival, blending the old with the new, to present a distinctively American form of music. Skaggs’ versatility is evident; he was inducted into the Gospel Hall of Fame in August.

The concert begins at 7:30pm. A silent auction begins at 5pm. A pre-concert dinner, which includes a special appearance by Skaggs and preferred concert seating, begins at 6pm. All ticket proceeds go directly to Hope House Mission. Concert-only tickets are $35 and concert/dinner tickets are $100. Princeton Pike is located at 6101 Princeton Glendale Road, Hamilton.  For tickets, please click HERE

The event is sponsored by Classic Country Radio WBZI-WKFI-WEDI, Contemporary Cabinetry East, Cox Media Group and others. Sponsorship allows 100% of ticket sales to go to Hope House, which shelters and serves more than 500 men, women and children each year.

Hope House Mission is one of few agencies in Butler County to shelter children. Adults receive a Ph.D.-level evaluation and a combination of emotional, physical, behavioral and spiritual support. Action plans aid clients in securing GEDs, employment and permanent housing.
